Well its Christmas Once more! So a few weekends ago I took a tour at the rosevelt mansion (just for something to do really) Unfortunately they dont allow pictures inside but I got some of the beautiful christmas trees in the museum shop place. And a few shots outside. I need ro learn how to focus this camera better though. Or maybe its just the motion blur from shaky hand… and to long exposure…. any way here those pics are…

Now what we all wait for EVERY Christmas! THE BIG BASH! THE BIG ELEPHANT! White Elephant! The White elephant party! YAAA WOOOOO and the crowd goes wild! Ok any way. So this year same deal Bells house potluck every hip person was there. Including the Morrises this year. Mostly the pictures tell the story but…. Let me just say… THOSE SCARY YELLOW SALT AND PEPPER SHAKER CHICKS ARE BACK! And some how this year they ended back where they started… With US… But oh no I will be rid of them next year! They been trying to get back to us and they did but no not for long! And there were a few fights over some cook book holders. Mrs. Bradford and Mrs. Morris……. SMH (shakes my head) Then there was lots of cookies and some massive thumb war fights! Epic fails at caroling… And Josh danceing to it. Josh ended up with his nice little jewelry box full of chocolate. People were trying to trade them anything they could get their hands on for the chocolate… Frida tried to bargain with MY CAMERA and James with my NEW COOL TOTALLY AWESOME Extremely long Santa hat! Every one loves it so much! I wore it to school and got so many comments! lol But any way back to white elephant. Also my dad at the end (I missed it) But apparently he countered Mr. Holmes “Do I have a heart? No” Comment with “I have a heart” And gave Mrs. Holmes some books for that blasted yellow chick! lol Oh and How we got the two of them Tim stole my picture frame for the other blasted little chick! AHHH for ever haunted! Any way. After that some of us went around and ran out side a bit. Then when it was just me the bells and bradfords we played ERS and ARIELLE WON AGAIN! (she keeps winning) Yup that was the night! Fun stuff!  Here are a few more silly pics of me just to remind you what I look like lately. (I got my bangs again) Like my new hair style?

Merry Christmas!

Life is a challenge…. but thats not what i came to say… If you want to know what im going though in my personal non internet life ask me on the phone lol…. lol Any who… Um I was inspired believe it or not by the movie “Julie and Julia” today to possibly… give myself a little challenge. *Raises one eyebrow* Design AT LEAST 2 if not 3 NEW t-shirt designs a week for…. a year straight! for those of you who cant do math… Thats 8 a month and 96 in a year…. My idea is to start a mini blog on some site that like Live Journal or Blog.com or blogger. (someplace that has like a community and people who search other blogs on the site host and that has like featured blogs so on…so that i dont have to worry about getting searched by google so on….) And post the new designs every week on there and promote and hope people in that blog community become avid readers… AND (if you havent seen my zazzle shop) SELL MY DESIGNS! So Do you dare me to design 2 or maybe even MORE a week for a year STRAIGHT! ?!?!?!?! (I will let you all know the link to the blog if or when i start it) Let me know INSPIRE ME folks! I need the encouragement right now.

Well first off, good news! I got the digital camera im borrowing from Mr. C working and set up to the computer. (I was having trouble with it before) Any who though here are some more of my Black and white Prints from film! Looking good eh?! Looks like im going to get an a minus at least in Photography! Drawing i still have to get some of those assignments back! Any way enjoy…..

Sorry folks that I havent posted in a while i have been busy… But in short terms and news… I got the digital camera from Mr. C up and running and its SOO COOL I WANT ONE OF THES THINGS! Uh thanksgiving was fun with my crazy and i do mean like ALL OF THEM ARE CRAZY cousins! Dads side of the family was freestyle rapping and that was amusing, and moms side the usual trying to annoy me but asking a billion questions about my life and my cousin tamara stalking me on facebook) Ya and lots of food. I will soon post my latest prints (though their havent been many) Oh and i also registered for next semester classes… and random though im thinking of taking ballroom dancing classes some where some time! TIME TO CHA CHA AND TANGO AND RUMBA BABY! MORE COMMING SOON!

I got a B on my 2nd assignment (didnt do as well this time) But still better then what i thought I thought! This was my 2nd assignment

Depth of field as i said before. How much is in focus. One picture everything in focus and one with only one thing in focus. (The assignments are labeled in the caption) The rest are other random prints i printed the last couple days. (Tashia helped of course lol)

The 2nd shot of the wishing well with the wreckage in the background is what use to be our neighbors house… Their house burned down. Lost every thing i guess…. Sad.

My first assignment that I got an A on  is the fallowing….. The assignment was to do motion blur and motion frozen. So the blured cars in the city was for the motion blur… obviously and the water droplets which are SOOOOO COOL for motion freeze! EVERYONE keeps asking me how I did it… Well it wasnt easy! lol No uh….. I got a bucket of water and put like a white board in the back side of the bucket behind it just so the background would not be busy even as it is blurred….. (ya we just happened to have a white board from an old broken cabinet lol And at first I took a water balloon put a hole in it and let it drip but that was too hard to capture.  So to make a bigger splash i just dropped it in the pale and with the other hand holding the camera took the shot (which was not easy cause the camera is very heavy to hold with one hand specially when you want it to be steady….. I got a couple good ones and thats the one i chose! the other shorts are just a couple other shots… The leaves one is for my next assignment and i handed it in already. (depth of field.) For those of you who dont know what depth of field is… Its how much is in focus.

So last weekend went to moms and as usual there is always something to do! This week was the Burning of Kingston Reenactment. So we went so I could take some pictures and such. I also ran into Trinity there. So got to hang with her that was cool. Um I have to say those people really like to do that reenactment stuff… however a strange thing happend. the place where this was going down had a FLOODED parking lot. That particular parking lot always floods but NEVER EVER EVER HAS ANY OF US seen it like that. Some seem to think God was sending a message to some of the reenactors. Our landlady said some of those people are not so nice. Weird but whatever any way… Then yesturday was a good and fun day at school! Had a unusual visitor….

Tim came down with Big Nate to the School. Nate had to take a clep test or something. So in between classes I hung with him for that 20 min or so. Then my photography teacher was sick unfortunately. (I wanted my first assignment back too! Oh and for those non facebookers who didnt hear the news, I got an A on my first photography assignment. Mine was one of the top 5 he chose to show to all his classes as good example! So thats cool) Anywho he was sick and so the class just went right to printing and or developing doing what they needed to do. I had Tashia come down cause she had said she wanted to be a part of the printing part. So she came down at first she seemed tired or sad or something. But she quickly got all excited. When I let her focus things and put the paper into the developer and the other chemicals. Lol she even picked out a print and after seeing the test strip choose the perfect time for exposure! She was so happy! It was great lol Love her! Then when we went up stairs and saw some of her class mates friend (sisters) so on she was telling them all how she printed this shot and was showing it to ever bone (i gave her the good copy of the print and one of my other prints that she liked) She even gave me an assignment for her… So I am going to try and do that and give it to her as a Christmas gift or something tehe. ANY WHO so ya that was a fun time. Also did really well in drawing class in the morning. Here are my latest works and the pictures from the reenactment!
